Manchester Thunder shooter Joyce Mvula has been nominated for Vitality Netball Super league player of the season award in the United Kingdom.
The nominations were announced on Monday and it included nine players.
This is the second successive season for the Malawi national netball team player to be nominated for the award.
“It is an honour for me to get nominated for the award. It has been a tough and exciting season. I have had some outstanding performances,” Mvula said.
Mvula also urged netball loving fans across the world and Malawi in particular, to vote for her.
In this season, Mvula achieved extraordinary after attaining 100 percent shooting accuracy in two matches.
Meanwhile, Netball Association of Malawi General Secretary, Carol Bapu, has asked Malawians to vote for Mvula.
“We are proud of her and we need four or five players to be playing at the highest level. Let us all vote for her,” Bapu said.
