A TNM Super League action returns this coming weekend after a two-week break because of the May 21 Tripartite Elections.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has released a fixture for games to be played this weekend.

On Saturday, Savenda Chitipa United will play against Masters Security at Karonga Stadium while Be Forward Wanderers host Dwangwa United at Kamuzu Stadium in commercial capital Blantyre.

On Sunday, the action will continue with a capital city derby as Silver Strikers host Civil Sporting at Silver Stadium.

Masters Security will wrap up their trip to the Northern Region with a fixture against Karonga United at Karonga Stadium while Dwangwa United’s last assignment in the Southern Region will be against Ntopwa FC at Kamuzu Stadium.

Meanwhile, Sulom general secretary Williams Banda said the two-week break will not affect the calendar.

“We planned ahead for this. There is a one-week cushion which we had for the Tripartite Elections,” he said.

Banda added that is only Cosafa Cup currently in Durban, South Africa that will affect the calendar.

Meanwhile, Blue Eagles lead the table with 11 points from six games while Bullets are second with 10 points from four games. Wanderers are on position eight with seven points from four games.
