Bruno Fernandes says he’s ready to talk to Sporting Lisbon about a transfer away should the right club come calling.
The Portugual international is a Manchester United transfer target, with the Red Devils reportedly ready to make a £70million bid for the 24-year-old.
The midfielder represented his country in their Nations League final win over Holland on Sunday night, and says he is now ready to address his future.
Fernandes spent much of his early career playing in Italy with Novara, Udinese and Sampdoria before returning home to Portugal with Sporting.
On a possible return to Italy to represent Inter Milan, Fernandes added: “I had a great time in Italy, I still watch the Italian championship: both Inter and the others, I follow them all.
“I do not know if their interest is true, but Inter are a great team, they have history.
“They have a great coach who has made history with Juventus , he has done well with their national team, but the other teams will strengthen as well.”
