Micium Mhone, key player and Captain of Blue Eagles Football Club, will be missed by the club following an ankle injury, Malawi sports can confirm.
According to our source, Mhone confirmed the injury saying doctors have advised him to stay out of action for three weeks.
“I will not be able to feature for two weeks due to an ankle injury I sustained during a match against Mzuni,”said Mhone.
The captain has been an influential figure in Eagles camp and he has proved worth for scoring six goals.
Mhone is one of the players portrayed to complete end of the season Golden boot award against Be Forward striker Babatunde Adepoju who’s got 10 goals and Khude Muyabe of Silver Strikers who has 7 goals to his credit.
Mhone will be on hold due to the injury this weekend as his team play Masters Security at Dedza Stadium on Sunday 4th August 2019.
