Beforward Wanderers won over TN Stars on surtaday in the TNM Super League at Kamuzu Stadium, with considerate Goals from Francisco Madinga and Francis Mkonda, Malawisports.com can reveal.
Though Defeated, TN Stars managed to score a consolation Goal through Stain Dave on the spot kick. The visitors got beaten 4-1, where Mkonda scored 2 Goals as well as Francisco Madinga.Then Madinga powered home under pressure from group of TN Defenders, with a well curved shot from the left flank.
After 8 minute another set was in, As TN stars failed to clear out a cross and Francis Mkonda scored with a skillful head in. Two minutes later, Stain Dave long-ranged a shot 30 yards away with his left weak foot, but went straight in Nenani Juwayo’s hands.it was 2-0 in 30 minutes for the home.
The visitors tried to secure a Goal but a concrete formed by Harry Nyirenda and Wongani Kaipa at the back with assistance of the wings Stanley Sanudi and Ted Sumani couldn’t let them.

TN Stars got a consolation goal in the injury time through a penalty scored by Stain Dave when Harry Nyirenda brought Down a TN striker inside the box, which resulted to that penalty. Questionable decision raised from the referee when he denied TN Stars a penalty when dave was brought down, the same applied to wanderers where what looked like a penalty after Nyangulu was also brought down in in the box, was denied, only for the referee to wave play on.
From 10 games with 25 points, Wanderers have maintained to position two,While Kamuzu Barracks are still on the summit table with 26 points from 10 games.
