It was a sad sunny yesterday when Masters Security was smashed 6 goals to 1 by Be Forward Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium in ongoing TNM super league.

As sad as he was, Abbas Makawa head coach of the defeated team revealed on Mibawa television that their players have not been paid in the past three months.

“Players were not as motivated as there were supposed to be after surviving three months without pay,” said  Makawa.

 Makawa also stated in the statement that players couldn’t focus on the game when they have nothing to feed their families and themselves.

Now the game, for 36 minutes the visitor held their nerve In the first half but things turned sideways when three goals were scored between 37 and 45 minutes by Bob Mpinganjila side and they added three more by end of the game.

In the first half, just after 11 minute, be forward  wanderers had their opportunity when Vincent Nyangulu passed ball to Isaac Kaliyati but he let by his first touch which allowed Kodwani Lufeyo to make a timely clearance.

The victors paved way in the end creating a goal scoring opportunity when Bester jimu released Mussa Manyenje right in the penalty box only to fire straight at Nenani  Juwaya.

Wanderers put much pressure on Masters, at this time Nyangulu blasted his effort crossing his shot over the bar after a good work from Adepoju.

Francis Nkonda the midfielder battled his way with Mphatso Dzongolo which was interesting, getting duo booked in the half by referee Gift Chiko.

In the 33rd minutes of the first half, the defence of the visitors was waltzed by Kaliayti before an audacious short over bester Phiri which went wide off his goal post.

However, the nomads were able to score dispite the resilent of masters security.

A long pass from Kaliyati found Babatunde who acted as architecture in this case, who led Babatunde fed Mkonda whose low cross drive was too much for Phiri,1-0

A corner was saved well by Juwaya when was trying his way in the six-yard, controversially the nomads then doubled their lead through Jabatunde who finished easily after a pass from Nyangulu in which a video replay indicated that it was an offside hence triggering are action from visitors panel since assistant referee decided not to raise flag.

Mkonda completed his brace since masters defence were caught napping in the line of duty allowing the former captain to simple tap after all the nomads were not in reverse mode

Arrears were reduced by the visitors when the action immediately continued after the recess and after a couple of half-chances, then Denis Chembezi brought down Jimu reading to 3-1.

Chimwemwe royal and Tizgowele Kumwenda were brought in for Cuthbert Sineta and Cader Toure from the visitors side.

Baptism of goals followed as masters thought it was a new beginning.

Wanderers parity was restored in the 58th minute by Kaliyati with a clinical finish when he was set through by Nyangulu which send the whole stadium into a Fenzy.

Francisco and Rafick Namwela were paved way by Felix Zulu and Alfred Manyozo jnr whilst Dalio came in for the visitors.

This time around the home team sniffed blood in 63rd minute when Babatunde scored the fifth goal from a Scrambled goalmouth as Phiri was trying to clear a corner kick.

Things got worse for masters security just moments later after babatunde tauted the defence before a shot which hard for making the scores to 6-1.

Remonstrately the hard shot by Babatunde left the head coach makawa angly on side lines,he suggested sign languaged hid defence to close down Babatunde the leading top goal scorer with 10 scores.

In the last minute Simeon Singa was brought on board substituting Mkonda,Chiko blew the whistle which marked the end of the game saving more damage for masters.

The top goal scorer in the chart Babatunde was named man of the match.

Beforward wanderers now reading second in position over 22 points, from nine games, and 23 goals in the process, conceding 4 goals.

Masters security is being dropped to 12th position and having 10 points from the same number of games.
