Master Security Football Club have encouraged their not loose hope saying they should come with no doubt at Bingu National stadium t cheer them as they host Uganda’s Proline FC in the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Cup preliminary round, second leg match.

The private Security men lost 3-0 to Proline a fortnight ago in the first leg, but the TNM Super League team side’s General Secretary, Christopher Njeula, Thursday insisted that impossible was not in their vocabulary.

“We are down but not out,” Njeula said. “We will try to dig deep to overturn the result. In football, anything can happen, so we urge fans to come in their large numbers to support us. We are representing the nation, so please we need the impetus of the 12th man—the fans.”

The team though struggling financially with players complaining that they are yet to get paid, proved doubters wrong by fulfilling the first leg fixture in Kampala without any perceptible hassle.

However, the team need the backing of the home fans to fill the Lilongwe venue where a seat in open terraces would cost K1,000, K5,000 for the VIP section and K7,000 for corporate boxes.

Masters’ debut in the continental competition ended in the preliminary stage when they lost 5-0 over two legs to Angolan side Petro de Luanda.

Abasi Makawa Coach for Masters reserved his comment on tomorrow’s game.

Proline FC, who has appointed Matia Lule as their new coach to replace Shafiq Bisaso, who has left for Sweden to pursue further studies, jetted in through Lilongwe’s Kamuzu International Airport yesterday.

Proline FC was boosted after Uganda’s football association contributed an equivalent of K2 million towards the team’s trip to Lilongwe.
