Trevor Kajawa, Ntopwa FC Head Coach, is optimistic that his charges can take the challenge of the possible outcome to remain in the TNM Super League beyond this season.
“I know that we are being underrated but I have a feeling that this squad will not get relegated this season. We have a pool of talented players who are determined and willing to fight tooth and nail to get a good result,” he said.
Coach majawa expressed his impression towards the resilient character which the side showed when coming twice from behind to stun Mighty Tigers 3-2 in a Super League match on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium.
“If we maintain that fighting spirit then we stand a good chance of staying in the league. It will not be easy but tough. However, we will be fighting hard to get a good result in all games,” he said.
This weekend, Ntopwa FC will face another test over the weekend in a clash with the League leaders Be Forward Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium.
“We have just started our preparations but we will prepare to give them a good run,” he said.
So far the team has collected four points in three matches.
However, Isaac ‘Jomo’ Osman, Technical Director and owner of team has said Kajawa’s training methods had injected a new lease of life into the squad.
“He is making every player to feel that he is an important member of the squad. I also excited with his drills,” he said.
