Malawi national netball team coach Peace Chawinga-Kaluwa has brought new faces into the final squad with new faces that are replacing some players who went with the team to England for World Cup Tournament.
Chawinga has replaced long time attacker Thandi Galeta with Beatrice Mpinganjira. Chawinga has dropped a long time defender and former captain Joana Kachilika.
The team will leave the country on Saturday 12th October, 2019 for South Africa where they are expected to partake in the forthcoming Africa Netball Championship in Cape Town, South Africa. The championship will run from October 18 to 23.
The following is the list of players who have made it into the final squad;
Jane Chimaliro, Jesca Sanudi, Joyce Mvula Sindi Sintowe, Beatrice Mpinganjira, Bridget Kumwenda, Takondwa Luwazi, Towera Vinkhumbo Nyirenda, Carol Ntukule Ngwira (Captain), Grace Mwafulirwa (Vice Captain), Martha Dambo and Rolina Ngwira.
Beatrice Mpinganjira last played in the national team in 2012 and has returned to the team after 7 years of absence.
