Nyasa Big Bullets duo of Peter Banda and Patrick Phiri were released from Flames camp, without training with the rest of the squad, as medical tests showed they picked injuries while on club duty during the Blantyre Derby last Saturday.
According to Flames team manager James Sangala, Banda has a groin injury while Phiri has problems with his knee. Sangala said the injuries are minor.
Meanwhile USA based winger Yamikani Chester joined the team on Tuesday morning. He is the only foreign based player who has flown into the country while the rest will join the team in Johannesburg on Thursday.
The Flames are travelling to Lesotho for two friendly matches against Lesotho National Football team on Friday and Sunday.
