Last season’s Beforward wanderers top goal scorer Babatunde Adeboju who was in Lilongwe to finalise his deal with Lilongwe giants Silver strikers football club has returned to Blantyre.
Malawi-Sports.Com can confirm that Babatunde Adepoju is back from Lilongwe and trained with his team Be Forward Wanderers today.
This has been done after Wanderers rejected Silver’s proposal to pay the K8 million transfer fee next month.
Wanderers allowed the player to leave Blantyre last week and sign for Bankers but were told not to unveil him until payment is made.
Wanderers demanded that they want cash, and the money should be paid now not next month as Silver requested.
This means Babatunde will play for Nomads this season in the country’s top flight football league TNM Super League which is expected to begin on 21st March in which the Nomads will start their journey with newly promoted side Red Lions on the 22nd March.
