Brighton Munthali has extended his current deal with another two years which will make him stay at the Silver Stadium till 2023.
Munthali who is the Bankers first choice goal keeper has expressed his excitement after being offered a new deal. “It shows that the club still values me and I am happy that they still need me”, Munthali said as his previous deal was expiring in April 2021.
Having signed for the football powerhouse Silver Strikers in 2016, his fortunes have changed tremendously as he rose to also be a regular National team goalkeeper in his four years in Area 47.
Thoko Chimbali, Chief Executive Officer for the club says they love to have the best players of the land and Brighton is one of the best in the country bearing in mind his Flames role and even his role at club level.
Munthali has won two trophies at the club in four years, Airtel Top 8 in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
