Things have fallen apart and the center has refused to hold such that in the blue camp voluntary resignations have decided to take center stage while their opponents, Big Bullets, are busy building their camp.
Media reports have indicated that Mighty Wanderers chief supporter, Yona ‘Green’ Malunga, has said that he is not contesting in the forthcoming club’s elections.
Malunga confessed that he is no longer interested to contest in the polls, saying among other reasons he has failed the club by not containing violence in Balaka and Kamuzu Stadium.
He told the Malawi News Agency that sometimes it is better to accept when things have fallen apart.
The Nomads supporters are scheduled to go to the polls on March 23 according to the club’s board of trustee’s.
In December last year, a Mighty Wanderers supporter was trampled on at a football game in Balaka after violence erupted and since then it appears the ghost of the dead supporter has been haunting the team after the club has been fairing badly in its recent encounters.
