Big Bullets Chairperson Kondi Msungama over the Weekend apologized to the team’s followers over the postpone  of the team’s trip to South Africa.

Bullets was expected to leave the country for South Africa(Polokwane) on Saturday to prepare for 2014/2015 Super League season which is scheduled to start mid-April.

In his apology Msungama said he has done that for the betterment of the team and the players.

“Do not blame the executive committee or the supporters committee . I shoulder the blame. However, while the timing for the change was wrong, I still stick to my guns that I made the right decision in the best interest of the team”, said Msungama.

Commenting on Msungama’s remarks, club’s  treasurer, Noel Lipipa said:

“This is the right decision , but it should have been made at the right time. Nevertheless, I commend you for the move, better late than never, but the challenge will now be to minimize the damage”.

Meanwhile the move taken by Msungama has also been welcome by the players who attended the Press briefing at Shire Highlands in Blantyre.
