Football Association of Malawi (FAM) in its recent statements has announced that it has started selling tickets for the Malawi national football team against Mali on Saturday.
According to FAM Commercial Manager Casper Jangale said the tickets started selling on Tuesday and has setup four selling stations namely; Chiwembe Technical and Development Centre, Steers Debonaires, Blantyre Youth and Kamuzu Stadium.
Open Stand will be going at K1,000, MBC Stand K2,500, Covered Stand K5,000 while VIP will going at K10,000.
“We did not sell much on the first day but we are optimistic that by Friday they will be sold out,” said Janagale.
He also appealed to the fans to rush and buy the tickets early because the tickets would not be sold on Saturday, the day of the match. “People tend to rush at the eleventh hour to buy but what they should know is that we will not sell on day of the game just as it was with the Algeria game,” he said.
Malawi will be facing Mali on Saturday November 15, in their second leg of Group B Africa Cup of Nations Afcon) qualifiers at Kamuzu Stadium.
Malawi will next week Wednesday November 19 to Ethiopia for their other Afcon qualifying match against the Walias.
Malawi is so far bottom of the table with 3 points, same as Ethiopia only that the Flames have a lower goal aggregate.
Mali is second with 6 points while Algeria who have already qualified have 12 points.
