2014 TNM Super League decider between champions Big Bullets FC and Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre grossed K11.7 million.

According to some football officials the figure is quiet questionable as the numbers have fallen K3.3 million short of the K15 million realised from the Carlsberg Cup final between Bullets and Zomba United at the same venue in August this year.

So far from the amount collected the two teams received K2.3 million each, and so too government as ground levy.

The rest of the money went to other stakeholders such as Super League of Malawi (Sulom), Football Association of Malawi (FAM), Malawi National Council of Sports, security and the agency that manned the gates.

However speaking in an interview with Bullets general secretary Harold Fote said they were not satisfied with the revenue as it did not really reflect the huge turnout.

The crowd was more or less the same like the Carlsberg Cup final match. With tight gate management, I am sure it could have been more, said Fote.

He said they sold 22 000 tickets, which translated to about K12 million.

From what we gathered, the tickets were sold out and they switched to counterfeits, so we should have made more than that, he said.
Only about K100 000 was made from VIP enclosure, yet it was full, he said.

Entry charges were K5 000 VIP, K2 500 Covered Stands, K1 000 MBC Stand and K500 Open Stands.
