Malawi National Netball Team the Queens failed to leave the country on Wednesday December 10 2014 for England for three testing matches because the team failed to receive visas in time.

Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) President Rosy Chinunda confirmed of the development in an interview with FaceofMalawi.

Chinunda said the squad will leave on Sunday as visas have been submitted electronically with no rejections and should be endorsed by Friday.

NAM President also revealed that the team will only play two matches not three as per earlier arrangements.

In the opening Match, the Queens will face England at London’s Copper Box Arena on December 17 before meeting in the finals at Worcester Arena on December 20.

Malawi Queens will be headed by Mary Waya and her deputy is Connis Mhone.
