In a quest to raise funds for CAF Champions League scheduled to start on February 14, Big Bullets FC have opened an account at New Building Society (NBS) bank to help the team to fulfill its first assignment in the tournament.
The People’s team will start the tournament with an away assignment to Comoro Island to face Fomboni club on February 14, 2015.
According to Bullets outspoken Chairman Kondie Msungama, the triple will cost the team about MK30 million.
Speaking in an interview with the Press, Bullets General Secretary Harold Fote said the club hopes to raise MK10 million through this account.
“In the short term, the target is to raise K10 million within the next two weeks to go towards the trip to Comoros Islands, but in the long term we are looking at raising K100 million”, said Fote.
Fote also appealed to all Malawians across the country to support the team with the little they have.
Bullets opened the account on Wednesday this week at NBS bank branch in Blantyre and the number is 0020981070012.
