Big Bullets FC have hired the services of Burundian Coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan as the People’s team head coach replacing Elijah Kananji.
The development follows the team’s qualification to play in 2015 CAF Champions League scheduled to start in February.
According to CAF rules any coach without CAF licence is not allowed to coach any team talking part in the tournament.
Confirming the development, Bullets General Secretary Harold Fote said Ramadhan will be deputized by Lloyd Nkhwazi and Kananji will the second deputy.
“We wished we had maintained the Super League winning coaching panel, but things have changed because Kananji has no CAF coaching licence to be used during the CAF Championship,” said Fote.
According to information sourced by FaceofMalawi, the Burindian coach who also once coached the team will be getting less than MK 500,000.
Bullets will start CAF Champions League with an away assignment to Comorol Island against Fomboni Club de Moheil on February 13 2015.
