Ajax Cape Town has turned their attentions to Bloemfontein Celtic’s Malawian defender, Limbikani Mzava, who will be a free agent in June.
The 21-year-old full back was previously a target for Mamelodi Sundowns, however a move failed to materialise and he remained with Celtic.
Now, with the player’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, there has been growing interest from a number of PSL clubs, most notably Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The Siya crew has now been informed that Ajax, who ended 2014 in fifth place on the Absa Premiership table, are also looking to snap up the versatile defender after he fell out of favour in the Free State.
Mzava can sign a pre-contract with any interested club starting in January of 2015 and join them on a free transfer when his deal expires, however Ajax may look to land him for a cut price fee should they agree personal terms with him this month.
