After working with Silver Strikers as general secretary, Mike Chimdidi Tembo is to launch his manifesto as general secretary for Super League of Malawi (Sulom).
In an interview, Tembo said he still has the desire in his chest to continue serving Malawian sports and has better ways of making football one of the leading sporting disciplines to boost the economy of the country.
“I have served Malawi in sports in the past and I will keep on serving the country in many ways,” said Tembo.
Commenting on his manifesto to be launched Chimdidi said he will not disclose his agenda yet, as he is still deciding on what to include in the manifesto.
“Everyone wants football to be leading in Malawi, however that’s what is included in my manifesto ways on how I can make the super league be at par with the world’s famous leagues such as the English Premier League.”
“Everybody knows that I do not do things in a hurry, however I would like to point out that I will never fail my supporters as I will deliver in the way they want it,” said the banker’s general secretary.
Tembo, however edged everyone to vote for him come on the polling day.
“Remember to vote for the right person as am the right candidate for the people and I urge everybody to think of me before voting for everyone as am ready to do everything for the league to reach the global map,” he said.
