Mighty Be Forward midfielder, Mike Kaziputa has been hinted with a move to Costol de Sol of Mozambique before the beginning of this year’s soccer season.
Kaziputa has for the past been the subject of transfer speculations since last summer before Nomads officials had put a ‘not for sale tag’ on him.
Now the young and upcoming left midfielder who was part of the Nomads squad that won Standard Bank Cup twice has been now been given the opportunity to showcase his skills elsewhere.
Confirming the development Kaziputa said it was difficult to leave a club he loves the most, but said he needed new challenges in life.
“I love Mighty Wanderers with all my heart because it is the club that has put me on the map but as of now l cannot talk a lot we will see what will happen next because l learned that you should never think that you’re gone before you actually did,” said Kaziputa.
If Kaziputa will be successful, he will become the second Nomads player to trek to Mozambique during this off season after goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa.
Other players who have left for Mozambique include; Peter Kansonga of Azam Tigers, Blessings Tembo, Charles Swini, Frank Banda and Chawanangwa Kaonga, all from Silver Strikers.
