Big Bullets FC are in talks with Kuku Matches Limited over possibilities that the match manufacturing company could sponsor the team with financial assistant worth K3 million for players’ salaries.
Information reaching Malawi-Sports indicate that bullets approached the company on Wednesday with an aim that Kuku should brand their products with a picture of the team’s captain Fischer Kondowe in exchange for the financial backing.
However, Kuku managing director Hossam Jussab and Bullets chairperson Kondi Msungama said the deal is yet to be signed.
“Bullets asked us for support towards the welfare of their players. We will notify you when everything is ripe,” said Jussab, who was once the club’s chairperson.
According to Msungama, they have approached several companies and individuals for assistance ahead of their participation in the 2015 CAF Champions League.
