Super League sponsor TNM has fulfilled their pledge toward Big Bullets FC during Prize presentation at Kamuzu College Sports Complex in the commercial capital in December last year that they would assist the club in CAF Champions League.
TNM fulfilled the pledge Yesterday in Blantyre where they donated money amounting to MK 15 million and MK1.6 million for the people’s team to purchase a home and away kits.
Speaking after receiving the cash, outspoken Chairman Kondie Msungama hailed TNM for the support.
“We can confidently say that our trip is on and grateful to TNM,” said Msungama.
On his part, TNM public relations and sponsorship manager Limbani Nsapato said the company wishes Malawi’s CAF flag carriers “best wishes”.
Bullets is expected to leave the country for Comoros Island this coming Sunday to face Fomboni FC on February 14 and the second leg will be played at Kamuzu Stadium on February 28.
At first, Bullets planned to spend MK30 million in a trip to Fomboni but the budget was slashed to MK15 million.
