TNM Super League and Carlsberg Cup Champions Big Bullets FC’s preparations ahead of CAF Champions League scheduled to start next week has received a boost following revelations that the team has successfully sealed a deal with Moyale Barracks and Kamuzu Barracks to take on board Gustine Simkonda and Harvey Mkacha on a loan.
Bullets FC outspoken Chairman Kondi Msungama confirmed of the development in an interview today with one of the privately owned radio (Zodiak Broadcasting Station).
In his speech, Msungama hailed the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) Deputy Commander Griffin Supuni Phiri for the support.
Msungama said at the moment, they are working on the papers to finalize everything and the players will be joining the People’s team any day this week.
Speaking after a friendly match between Red Lions and Bullets yesterday at Kamuzu Stadium, Swanziremo Rhamadan said the coming in of the two experienced players will help the team greatly and he assured Malawians of a win in Comoro Island.
Bullets will start the tournament with an away assignment to Comoro Islands to face Fomboni FCon February 14 and the return leg will be played on February 28 at Kamuzu Stadium.
Meanwhile the People’s team is running up and down in search of MK30 million for the trip to Fomboni.
