There was drama at Big Bullets (BB) Club house in Blantyre on Saturday, as officials claimed their share on the Saturdays match financial out come.
The havoc was brought among the officials, after some of the trustees wanted their share on the money that was collected at the gate by the club.
In an interview with one of the BB team official, Kondi Msungama, confirmed of the development and further said it is a disgrace to the club.
“I was escorting the Fomboni FC when I received a call from some officials who said they wanted theIr share on the money that was collected on the Gate,” Msungama Said.
Kondi, however, added that as he heads to the club’s house he was surprised to see that the officials were busy quarreling over the money.
“There was nothing I could do on my part as I am not on the financial department, but as the Chairman of the Club, I thought it wise to resolve the issue hence everything was resolved peacefully,” Msungama said.
He also challenged by saying that he is not afraid of anyone as some officials are threatening to deal with him.
“I was voted into power by BB supporters and not an individual who thought can use his power to intimidate me, I am doing my part to our supporter’s satisfaction and not only to one person, as such I edged everyone to work with me and not to demolish the team, Kondi said.
The people’s team Chairman, however, edged some supporters to keep on supporting the team despite the wrangles that the team is passing through.
“Together we stand, divide we fall. It is however, my wish for us all to make BB the best Club Malawi has ever had,” Concluded Msungama.
The club is reported to have made a lot of money on the Saturday’s match, which according to unconfirmed reports indicates the money amounting to 26 Million Kwacha.
