The Blantyre based team, Mighty Be-forward Wanderers football Club, has received a Nigeria player who is on one month trial.
A 22 year old Sipa Shimperspelly, an African international player who has played in many countries such as South Africa and Zimbabwe just to mention a few.
Shimperspelly was brought in the country by a not yet Malawian sport Agent Prince Jere.
In an interview, Sipa said he is in the country to show case his talent both in Malawi and the whole world.
“I have played in many countries and I was in the under 20 nation team for Nigeria and I performed very fine, however, am looking for an opportunity here in Malawi so that I can help in the growth of Malawian football,” he said.
On his part, Prince Jere said he is delighted with the way the club has received the player hence looking forward to their response.
“Am very delighted that the team has accepted my player and am hopeful that he will be picked by the team permanently,” said Jere.
Commenting on the same issue wanderer’s coach Eliah Kananji said the club has welcomed him and is expecting a lot from him.
“We can not predict yet if we will pick the player or not but we are looking forward to such if the player will impress us,” kananji.
The Mighty Be-forward wanderers have started their preparations to day in Blantyre.
