As 2015 Super League season is scheduled to start over the weekend with a big match involving current title holders Big Bullets FC and Silver Strikers at Civo Stadium in the Capital Lilongwe, information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that TNM has increased its sponsorship.
The development comes amid calls from the teams that the prize money is not enough as compared to expenses the teams anchor when the league is in progress.
According to information that FOM have in possession indicates that the sponsorship has been increased from MK65 million to MK90 million.
The League winner be getting money amounting to MK15 million.
TNM Commercial Officer Daniel Makata made the revelation today during the pre-launch of the 2015 Super League Season.
On his part, Super League of Malawi (SULOM) Vice President Daudi Suleman commended TNM for the increase in sponsorship.
Bullets FC in the 2014 Super League season took home money amounting to MK 9 million for winning the title with the Golden boot winner getting MK100, 000.
