Big Bullets FC has thrashed the just promoted Dedza Young Soccer 5-2 in TNM Super League match played today Thursday at Kamuzu Stadium to move two steps up on the log table.

The People’s team is now third on the TNM Super log table, taking the position of the Zomba based soldiers Red Lions who have suffered 3-0 defeat at the hands of fellow soldiers Kamuzu Barracks at Zomba community ground.

Bullets FC started the game on high note pressing the rookies Dedza Young Soccer from left and right with Fischer kondowe, Eneya Banda, Dalitso Sailesi on the mid-field to be in full control of the game as they were able to move with the ball from defence going forward.

The combination of the three gave Dedza young Soccer tough time as Big Bullets Strikers, Chiukepo Msowoya, Mussa Manyenje and Jafalli Chande stretched the defence apart.

This effort yielded result in less than 25 minutes of the first half as Bullets FC got an early lead through Bashir Maunde.

The goal increased the momentum of the game as the new rookies work up from their death bed and started searching for an equalizer. No wonder just after five minutes, Dedza Young Soccer got a penalty which was beautify saved by Bullets goalkeeper Owen Chaima.

The penalty miss did not disappoint Dedza Young Soccer as the team pilled more and more pressure on the People’s team. Although this was the case, Bullets players used their vast experience to score the second goal through Eneya banda.

Bullets FC celebration for the third goal did not last long as Dedza Young Soccer pulled one back in just seconds through John Banda.

The first half ended in 2-1 in favour of the People’s team which was hungry for a win.

In second half, Dedza Young Soccer looked more aggressive chasing Bullets players from left and right.

Although this was the case, Bullets defence managed to contain the pressure and scored the third goal through Eneya Banda before Chiukepo Msowoya scored the fourth goal through a penalty after Davie Ng’ambi who replaced Chande was brought down by Dedza Young Soccer.

Dedza Young Soccer reduced the arrears three minutes before the end of the match to make it 5-2.

Elsewhere, Blue Eagles have defeated Malawi Armed Forces College (MAFCO) to move second on the log table while Silver Strikers have beaten Airborne Rangers at Silver Stadium.
