Big Bullets FC yesterday were held to 1-1 draw against blue eagles at the soccer giant maker Kamuzu stadium in Blantyre in TNM super league.

Bullets dominated in the first half but squandered a lot of scoring opportunities through Jafalie Chande and Musa Manyenje

The game ended in a stalemate in the first half.

In the second half blue eagles came with new ideas as john Banda brilliantly was able to penetrate bullets defense .in the 55 minutes blue eagles took the slander lead through Shumaker Kuwali with a volley after bullets defense was beaten by an offside trap
Bullets kept on piloting pressure on blue eagles as Jafalie Chande thunderous shot went over the bar.

The defending champions breathed a sigh of relief through Chiukepo’s Msowoya penalty after Chande was tripped of in the box
Both teams shared a Pont after the game ended in 1-1
Bullets technical director Billy Tewesa expressed disappointment but remain optimistic that soon they are going to reclaim the top spot

“We could have won the game with great margin but unfortunately we missed lot of chances in the first half, we will be back onto soon,” said Tewesa.
Blue eagles coach Deklek Nsakakuwona said it was unlucky that his boys gave out 1-0 lead but was delighted with a point.
We almost won the game but all in all we are happy collecting a point against tough side,’’ said Nsakakuwona.

Blue Eagles are still on third position with 17 points having collecting a point away while big bullets is now on second position with 20 points in 10 matches .
