Silver Strikers Coach Stain Chirwa and the whole technical panel have been given two games to win by the club’s board of trustees if they are to remain at the banker’s camp.
This was agreed at the meeting held by the trustees on Monday at Crossroads Hotel in the capital Lilongwe.
During the meeting, trustees agreed to allow Chirwa and his technical panel to wind up the first round of TNM Super League.
It was also agreed that if the team continues to struggle in the league, the board will have no choice but to hire a new technical panel.
Silver Strikers Chairman Oscar Mabulekesi confirmed of the meeting, saying there were a number of issues that was discussed during the emergency meeting.
“Major items on the agenda were the performance of the technical panel, financial and other forces affecting the performance of the team. The executive committee will brief the panel of the resolutions shortly and the way forward,” said Mabulekesi.
Silver Strikers is currently on position seven with 19 points from 13 games. The team has lost 6 games, won six and drawn once.
