Big Bullets F.C came from behind to beat Azam Tigers 2-1 at Kamuzu Stadium to be crowned 2015 TNM Super League Champions.
Both goals came from man of the moment Jaffali Chande.
Bullets F.C started the game on the slow pace with Azam Tigers taking full control of the game in all angles and no wonder Tigers took a lead just 8 minutes of the first half.
The goal made Bullets FC to resurrect from its death and started pressing Azam Tigers from all angles in search for an equalizer with Jaffali Chande and Mussa Manyenje causing havoc upfront.
Despite all this pressure, Azam Tigers managed to cling on to the slander lead up to half time.
Come second half, Bullets also started on the slow pace as it was on the case with the first-half giving Azam Tigers to take full control of the game.
Although this was the case, Bullets F.C got an equalizer through Chande just 10 minutes into the second half.
The goal gave Bullets players much confidence and much hunger for another goal to grab maximum points and no wonder Chande increased the lead in the 31st minute to make it 2-1.
Azam Tigers tried had to push for draw but Bullets manged to contain the pressure and the game ended in fovour of the people’s team.
Speaking after the game, Bullets Technical Director Billy Tewetsa hailed the players for living up to their promises.
On his part, Azam Tigers Technical Director attributed the loss to poor officiation.
Bullets are now Champions of 2015 TNM Super League with four games to go before the end of the season.
