Dalitso Sailesi and Mussa Manyenje scored a goal each in either half to secure a comfortable two nil win over their fellow title contenders Silver Strikers at the Kamuzu stadium.

Sailesi, who has recently graduated from the Malawi junior national team to the senior team , gave Bullets the perfect start with just seven minutes on the clock.

Chikondi Likwemba’s pass gave Mac falen Ngwira time and space to cross from the light of the area, and Sailesi arrived to power a a tap in across the out stretched arms of Silver goal custodian Blessing Kameza into the bottom corner.

Silver responded well, Green Harawa-the joint Tnm Super League top goal score dragging a snapshot wide from 30 yards out before Bullet’s goal scorer once again tested Kameza from close range after a brilliant half-moon turn on the edge of 18 yard box, as Silver showed an improved rearguard resilience against the hosts’ processional dominance.

But they were undone by a moment of brilliance from Mussa Manyenje in the first minutes of the second half.

The former EPAC talisman twisted away from two Silver Strikers defenders [Luck Malata and Nishon Halazi] inside the box before curling a brilliant light-foot finish beyond Blessings Kameza and into the far corner.

Chances were scarce in the early part of the second half, but substitute Mathew Sibale almost made an immediate impact, driving into the area past Bullets deffence before denied by Chimwemwe Kunkwawa in an one on one situation.

Sibale had the other opportunity to pull a goal back but the man between BB’s posts showed his credential by making yet another brilliant save to keep the central bankers at bay.

Chiukepo Msowoya almost put the game beyond Silver strikers reach in the dying minutes of the second half but the former ESCOM United star saw his effort went straight into the palms of Silver Strikers goalkeeper.

The striker though he would have given a spot kick after he had found himself colliding with the goalkeeper but the penalty appeal was turned down by the Man in black attire.

Bullets FC are now having 47 points from 20 games seconded by Mafco FC with 37 points.
