Big Bullets mid-fielder James Chilapondwa nicknamed ‘The Terminator’ has announced that this is his last season to play active football.
Chilapondwa made the announcement on Wednesday after his team demolished relegated Fisd Wizard 2-0 at Kamuzu Stadium in the commercial capital Blantyre.
The terminator joined Bullets FC in 2003 and he later joined Escom United which is now playing in the Senjele Southern Region Football League.
The mid-fielder then left for Tanzania where he signed a three year contract with Young Africans.
Chilapondwa then returned home and played for Escom United and he later rejoined his former club Big Bullets FC.
Speaking to the press, Chilapondwa said he has done his part and it’s time for him to go.
“Age is catching up with me, and i feel its time to call it quits. It is good to leave when everything is going on well.
“I urge young stars to always work hard, listen to coaches, and fear God,” said Chilapondwa
