TNM Super League relegated side, Dedza Young Soccer, face a huge task to realize their dream of returning to the top-flight league as they are on the brink of losing six regular players.

Adding on, Dedza have lost their head coach Millias Pofera, who joined Lilongwe giants, Civo United over the weekend.

The Dedza outfit is also on the verge of losing its captain, Chisomo Mpachika who is undergoing trials in South Africa with National First Division side, Umtatha Bush Bucks.

And the club’s 2015 TNM Super League player- o f – the month October, Amadu Makawa, is linked with a move to Nyasa Big Bullets.

Dedza already sold wonder-boy, Wilson Golomoto to Silver Strikers.

Dedza officials admitted that other clubs are eyeing defender Chisomo Gilioni, strikers Ferguson Mtondo and Fletcher Bandawe.

The club’s general secretary, Harold M’mola, said it would be tough to perform in Chipiku Central Region Football Association Premier Division next season as most of their regulars will not be part of the team.

M’mora said the team has started the preparations ahead of the new season.

He added that the departure of their coach will mean that his deputy will take over.

“It’s a big blow to our family to allow these guys to leave us as they have been the pillars of this team for the past years. We can’t bar them as everybody looks for a greener pasture. We will try our best to have quality payers and wish our coach all the best. As of now, we are waiting for our player Mpachika to tell us more about his trials with Bush Bucks in South Africa,” M’mora said.
