Football Association of Malawi (FAM) disciplinary committee has frown in the determination following the validity of the contract which Jaffale Chande submitted to FAM that is free to play for Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.
Chande had a long stand disputes with his former club, Nyasa Big Bullets whereby the team accused the player that while in midst of a contract with them which suggested to run up to August 13, 2016, signed a contract with Wanderers.
Therefore, the committee had a meeting last Saturday in Blantyre to see the way forward on this case. The rule however has fallen in a favour of Chande that according to his contract, which was dated different from that of Bullets, was indeed free agent by the time he signed a new contract with Wanderers.
This implies that FAM concluded the Bullets contract which was submitted, was forged.
The general secretary of Wanderers, Mike Butao seemed not to be surprised with the result.
“I knew that the player was innocent,” he said
“Right now the player starts training with others, if all goes well he may be included in this coming game on Saturday.”
