Manchester City’s Champions League hero Kevin De Bruyne, midfielder scored a superb goal against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) that sent his side to the last four of the Champions League.
De Bruyne scored the only goal of the game as City progressed to the semi-final for the first time in their history, beating the PSG in quarter finals, 3-2 on aggregate.
“It feels great,” De Bruyne said immediately after the match. “Today we played a very good game, everybody fights.
“We deserved to go through.”
City controlled the first half but couldn’t find the breakthrough – with nerves creeping into the stands.
De Bruyne says the players remained calm and are now looking to go a stage further and play in the final in Milan.
“I think in the first half we deserve already to be ahead but, okay, we knew in the second half it was going to be a tough game,” he said. “I think we played the same game and created some chances and it’s good that we scored.
“We are now in the half-final – anything can happen. Obviously it’s going to be a tough one in the half final but looking forward to it and we will be ready to play the half
