The first leg in Champions league semi finals last night, no one can speak about without giving credit to man of the match, Joe Hart- Manchester City goalkeeper who put his side on safe side against the Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
Real Madrid failed to score yesterday at Etihad, whereby Hart saved the City. The game ended up to draw, even though, the Spanish giants dominated throughout played time.
Regardless, that city also did not score but they seemed happy and confident for second leg at the Bernabeu.
For instance, reflecting on the result, Hart said that they were not disappointed with the outcome, insisting that they have a brilliant squad who are ready for a good old fashioned rumble at the Bernabeu.
Hart was in good form as he demonstrated several skills in the second half as City held a dominant Real to a goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
However, City boss Manuel Pellegrini showed a bit concern about the result.
“We were not very creative and we couldn’t create clear chances to score,” he said
. “But in terms of intent, we had the most intent to win the game.”
Captain Vincent Kompany accepted that the game appeared to be too big for them.
“It is hard to keep a clean sheet against such an attacking team,” he said
“We can be proud of what we have achieved.”
Real manager Zinedine Zidane spoke the words that held no water after the match.
“It is a good away result against a team that didn’t put us in huge difficulties because they didn’t create many chances,” he said
