Mighty Be Forward Wanderers yesterday appeared to be different, very discipline and well organized which lead to defeat of the Silver Strikers 2-1 at their home.
The Silver opened a fire in first half, before 20 minutes from kick-off. However, Francis Mlimbika equalized which welled up the confidence to Wanderers side.
Peter Wadabwa who came for Jabulani Linje brought in the confusion to Silver after scoring a classic goal.
Both sides made changes in the second half but Changes made in Wanderers brought positive, especially when Wadadwa was introduced into the pitch.
Silver’s coach Lovemore Fazili accepted the defeat and attributed their failure to the poor plot in the second half because of changes they made.
We were on safe side on the first half but we lost the steam in the second half. But we have a good team and we will bounce back after rectifying our mistakes,” said Fazili.
While the Wanderers’s technical director Jack Chamangwana appreciated the changes they made;
“We struggled in the first half, especially the first two minutes but after talking to the boys at half time and making some changes, things changed for the better.
It’s important to win the first game and we will now be focusing on our next game,” said Chamangwana.
