The Manchester City failed to have any away goal in Bernabeu that could put them on safe side but rather being beaten by Real Madrid 1-0 which has ended their dreams for owning Champions League title.
It is now clear through this outcome that city was just accompanying the Real to the Madrid derby at the San Siro later this Month. City are just left hoping that perhaps in later future their side will face one of the giants in finals.
The City Keeper, Joe Hart was in form and saved his side except that was beaten by a deflected Gareth bale cross in the first-half.
Hart also notices that his side missed the opportunity to progress to the Final in Milan by not creating enough chances over the two legs in semi finals.
“Of course we’re disappointed because we could easily be in the final,” he said.
“They managed the game well but scored a very lucky goal.
“We turned up to win the game as we turn up to every game we play but it’s over now and we need to look ahead to Sunday’s game against Arsenal from onwards.”
Hart believed that Real Madrid did not play a kind of Football that could defeat them. He did recognize much of their problems which prevented them from scoring in that already given game.
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are all made it to the finals in Champions League whereby the Real will be its 14th.
