Football Association Malawi (FAM) has imposed fine on Master Security FC K300, 000.00 after being found guilty of beating referee during their Presidential Cup match against Civo United at Civo Stadium on 11th May 2016 which is against Article 27/10 of the Presidential Cup Rules and Regulations
The match kicked off on 11th May, where Master security met Civo United in presidential cup ended in dispute. Master Security players attacked referee Roy Williams and showered him with fists that led to abandoning the match
The problem rose when Master Security leveled as in their midst of celebrating their goal, the Civo scored another goal
The Security came to notice that their goal was denied by referee that was why the other side continued to play in their absence. This really landed a double brow on them, they all flew into rage.
However, the match was later replayed and ended in favour of Master Security while the other side was kicked out in this league.
Following such development of beating Williams, Master Security has been given a date line to pay such fine, which is before their next official match.
In related development, FAM has charged Silver Strikers FC for Displaying Unsporting Behaviour after their Supporters beat match officials at the end of their Presidential Cup match against Blue Eagles FC at Silver Stadium on 18th May 2016.
This again is violating of Article 27/10 of the Presidential Cup Rules and Regulations. Silver Strikers have until Wednesday 25 May 2016 to respond to the charge
