No sooner had Manchester lifted the FA Cup than talk of Jose Mourinho replacing Louis van Gaal began to overshadow their triumph.
Van Gaal’s United side won the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 after extra time-which may have been the Dutchman’s Final in Charge.
Van Gaal failed to comment positively when asked about his future in the post-final press conference but it seems his fate is sealed.
The former Chelsea coach likely to be appointed this week which keep van Gaal not to be on safe side.
The 64-year-old has invested over £250m on new players during his two-year reign at Old Trafford, but a fifth-place finish means United will play in the Europa League during the 2016-17 campaign.
