Malawian Football does not much care about the players, Nigerian Striker Amos Bello is about to understand this statement as he wants to sue Be Forward Wanderers over outstanding k 2.5 million signing –on fees.
In an interview, yesterday, Bello failed to thrash out any agreement as the rumor is on its pick that some amount of the balance has been deposited into his account.
“I have been told that k700 000 has been deposited in my account but I have not verified that. Again I need the club to tell me when the balance will be paid, if I am not being told anything sensible then I will take I will can’t tell you now,” he said.
However, the nomads vice-chairperson Gift Mkandawire confirmed that the team has already deposited k 700 000 in the player’s account on Tuesday and he did not understand why the striker still wants to take the case to court.
Bello went to the High Court in Blantyre last Friday to seek advice on how he could start legal proceedings against the club, where he was told that football matters should first be referred to his club executive committee.
