Blue Eagle has managed to return on heading the TNM Super league log table following the 2-0 victory over Civo United at Nankhaka Stadium on Saturday.

The match started with momentum as both sides seemed to be in desperate to take lead by the end of the day that fell in favour with Blue Eagles.

This weekend victory has made Eagles move back to a top with 21 points from nine games, two points clear of Silver Strikers, who did not play in this 9th week of Super league.

Following the victory, Blue Eagles coach Derklerk Msakakuona has praised his side for making it this time after their two consecutive defeats to Silver Strikers and Kamuzu Barracks.

“We were going through a bad patch and we needed a win. I believe the players have regained confidence,” Msakakuona said.
