Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers plan to meet this coming Sunday in a fundraising match to raise money for ailing Bullets goalkeeper Vincent Gona’s operation at Beit Cure International.
Actually the two sides have thought it wise to clash on Sunday considering the fact that an idle mind is devil’s workshop as they exempted from playing any competitive matches following their contribution more than three players to the national team.
Bullets team manager Billy Tewesa confirmed the development and said that the match will be played at Kamuzu Stadium.
“It’s true that we will be playing Mighty Wanderers on Sunday in a fundraising match in order to raise money for Vincent Gona’s operation as well as keeping our players fit knowing that they won’t play in any competitive match till month end of June,” he said.
The Nomads, team manager Steve Madeira concurred to the development and said that as brothers, they thought it wise to assist.
“Our brothers asked us to play a friendly match with them in order to raise funds for their shot-stoppers’ operation so we welcomed their idea,” said Madeira.
many fans are expected to come out in their large numbers as both teams have large number of supporters.
Gona’s operation will cost Bullets K3 million.
