While Civo United has started to register a recovery after collecting 3 points in the match over Wizards FC in and TNM Super on Sunday in Lilongwe, Silver Strikers has failed to head the league following a goalless draw against Kamuzu Barracks on Saturday afternoon at Silver Stadium.
The Silvers entered into the pitch with efforts that could speak volumes of how players were indeed in search for many goals but all to no avail.
At the end of the match, the silvers found themselves in the ditch of disappointing, still on position 2 on table. In contrary, their neighbours, Civo the following day, managed to punish the Wizards.
With the win, Civo have now moved to position 9 of the table through the effort of Charles Chilembo’s goal.
When the action got under way Civo dominated and should have led by more than Charles’s Chilembo’s goal.
“We had a grand game and very important to collect maximum points,” said Civo coach Pofera Jegwe.
