Despite the 1-0 victory that Malawi National Team (Flames) has managed over Mauritius last night at Independent Stadium,  2016 Cosafa in Namibia, the next game against Lesotho tomorrow is no longer an optional one but a must to win in order to book their place in quarterfinals.

At the moment, in this a group B Malawi and Lesotho are leveled at six points from two games each with only a goal difference,  that favours the latter for having scored  5 goals while former 4.

Both in their first game won 3-0, but yesterday’s matches, Lesotho won 2-0 to Angola while Malawi’s against Mauritius only goal through Miracle Gabeya.

Resting on unsafe side, Flames need a win at all cost tomorrow game.

Flames’ coach Ernest Mtawali has recognized that the future of this game rises in their hands so they will play it with all their muscles in order to win.

“Now it is up to us to win on Thursday. The players have showed they are ready to die for country as they played today and if they can take the same spirit into Thursday’s match there is no doubt we will carry the day,” he said
