Gareth Bale of Wales – three goals, Antoine Griezmann of France- three goals, and Christiano Rolnado of Portugal – two goals are in some stiff competition to win the golden boot at Euro 2016 tournament in France.
Currently, many well wishers put Griezmann on safe side to win the Golden Boot probably if he will score in quarter final game against Iceland.
Griezmann failed to score in France’s first match against Romania, but came off the bench to net the late opener against Albania in their second game. He then added two more in their last-16 encounter with Republic of Ireland as Didier Deschamps’ side came from behind to win 2-1.
However, Alvaro Morata is currently joint-top with three goals but can no longer win the Golden Boot as Spain are out of the competition. He could still potentially finish in the top three.
