In the girls’ Division, Christina Fiwa was crowned the winner, whereas Kate Chapola was second.
After winning, Mbilizi challenged fellow golfers to improve their game.
“I would like to challenge fellow golfers to take the sport seriously. Some of the things happening on the golf course should end. We need to respect one another,” she said.
BCS Ladies Golf Captain Muguvu-Karuku said the participants showed commitment towards ladies’ golf. Old Mutual Marketing Consultant, Patience Chatsika, said they were impressed with the turn-up and level of competition.
“We are not strangers to golf. This year, we have had a number of golf tournaments and we also donated kits to the national men’s golf team,” she said.
The championship lasted for two days and attracted 20 women and seven developmental girls
