Antoine Griezmann has scored only two goals in the match where France beat world champions Germany 2-0 to seal a place in the Euro 2016 final against Portugal.
The controversial first-half penalty for Bastian Schweinsteiger’s handball set a first goal for France through Griezmann.
In the second half, Griezmann managed to score another clear goal from timely set which put Germans on the side to believe that really it was not their day.
“We suffered but we knocked them out,” said French coach Didier Deschamps after the game in which Germany dominated possession.
The victory in Marseille mean the blues face Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portugal in Sunday’s final at the Stade de France.
Griezmann is now the top scorer at the European Championship finals with six goals.
